I.  Turkish-Uzbek programme exchange discussed.

        Officials from the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company of Uzbekistan and from the Avrasia channel of the Turkish Radio-Television Corporation [the TRT-INT Avrasia channel for Central Asia] held a meeting [on 5th March].  They discussed in detail the work carried out on reciprocal broadcasting of TV programmes over the past period.
 There was also discussion of future plans for further broadcasting of the Turkish Avrasia channel’s programmes on Uzbek television and radio channels, as well as for broadcasting of Uzbek television and radio programmes—especially programmes about Navruz and Independence Day festivities, national customs, Uzbekistan’s economic and social life and about its measures to boost spirituality—on the Avrasia channel of Turkish TV.
