Eric Stonier joined the Columbia Institute for Tele-Information in 1997, where he served as the Assistant Director for the Virtual Institute of Information (VII). He is currently a Senior Business and Technology Consultant at IBM's e-Business National Practice, specializing in Media, Entertainment, and Telecommunications. While at CITI, he produced and developed the first graduate level business course delivered in real-time over the Internet, entitled, Management of Information, Communication and Media.

Stonier has over 10 years of experience producing, developing and marketing mass media and technology programs including: television production, software development, internet programming, interactive presentations, and live entertainment. has served as Executive Producer at Infogrames Entertainment, directing all US development for this international software developer and Internet service provider. He is a former Interactive Producer for NewsCorp and Programming Manager for 20th Century Fox, where he developed television and Internet content for the entire Fox Group.

His background includes positions at Creative Artists Agency and IBM. He attended Boston College and St. Francis College.
